Dr. Duy Truong graduated from University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry on a full ride military scholarship. Upon graduating, he commissioned as a Lieutenant and served in the US Navy. His tours included two Marine Corps bases and a two-year assignment to the Middle East, where he treated service members from US Fifth Fleet, US Central Command and NATO forces.

Dr. Truong also took part in the 2021 Operation Allies Refuge to assist with the evacuation of Afghan refugees. He was honorably discharged in 2024 after 4 years of service. His achievements include 2 Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medals, Letter of Commendation from Commanding Officer, and Admiral’s Letter of Appreciation.

Dr. Truong’s love for dentistry stems from his experience working as a dental lab technician throughout college, where he fabricated dental crowns and prostheses. Dr. Truong enjoys reading, running, and traveling with his wife.
